Edmonton is becoming an absolute foodie heaven! Everywhere I look there is a new cute restaurant going in and it makes me so happy. With the recent revitalization of downtown, there have been a ton of delicious places to try. My list was getting way too long, so my friend and I decided to check out the recently opened Wilfred’s.
Now if you’re familiar with Aritzia, one of their brands is called Wilfred, and it’s my favourite in all of the store (these pants, this top and this sweater all come from the brand). This place definitely lives up to its name. I swear to you, if they took the colours, textures and patterns from this restaurant, they could make an amazing Wilfred summer line. It was absolutely the most instagramable spot I’ve seen in YEG. Plus, it’s in Brewery district which has tons of other neat cafés and shops too!
I just got my new Lack of Color Palma Fedora in and I was so obsessed with it, I obviously had to wear it that same weekend! I ordered two, the Palma Fedora, shown here, and the Zulu Rancher. They’re both amazing but the rancher is huge on my head.
I shared more about sizing and style on my Instagram stories, so if you want to see the fit of the Zulu head over there and watch my LOC Sizing highlight! They are gorgeously made hats, but definitely size down if you’re looking at buying. I measured my head to be exactly 57cm, the exact size of their medium, and they’re both quite big. Unfortunaly for me, I live in Canada and these hats ship out of Australia. AKA, trying to ship it back for an exchange would cost more than if I just bought a new one. Oh well, that’s the cost of having something not everyone else has!
I love an all light coloured look for summer and my woven pieces seemed to match too perfectly not to wear the monochromatic for brunch. If you remember, I bought this bag in the winter, but haven’t managed to snap some pics for the blog with it until now.
I love a good textured piece and this bag is perfect to do just that. No joke, I had 7 people stop me on the street to ask where I got it from! I’m trying harder to support small shops (I love Etsy for this!) rather than big chains when I can. So even though this bag has been popping up a lot lately, I snagged mine from French Baskets on Etsy! The lady was so sweet, it came in record time, and it wasn’t too expensive for a hand made piece from Morocco. I would definitely recommend!
This particular one is a size medium and it is really big. I would say, depending on what you’ll use it for, grab a small or medium. I wanted to make sure that it had lots of room for beach necessities which is why I snagged the larger version!
