Hello fall and HELLO fall Sephora sale. The best time of the year if I do say so myself. Sephora never goes on sale outside these specific days, so now is the time to stock up if you want a few things. This year, given I hardly do anything, my Sephora shopping cart is mostly skincare, save for a mascara since mine is embarrassingly old.
The fall sale is always great since it’s right before Christmas and you can snag some gifts on sale, and the Christmas gift sets are all available! These are great since you can sample and test different products without buying the full size, just in case it sucks. You can shop all the gift boxes here.
Given the sale has already started, lets get right into the best buys so that they don’t sell out before you can grab all your favourite things.
1. Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask
Winter is BRUTAL for my skin. It always gets so dry and flakey, so I have to be super careful about always picking up super thick and moisturizing creams or night masks to use during the change in seasons.
2. Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Mascara
I’m not going to admit how long I’ve had my current mascara, but let’s just say it was time for a new tube. This one had great reviews online and since I’m always down to try new mascaras, I picked it up to see if this would become my new favourite!

3. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrading Mask
Full disclosure, I’m not buying this in the sale since I bought it last month.. but it’s amazing, so you should buy it! It’s a gel overnight mask and I love how hydrated it makes my skin after using it. Since it’s a gel mask, it is a little sticky if you go straight to bed with it on. I always put it on about an hour before I go to bed and it works wonders on my skin. Plus, it’s on the more affordable side of thick overnight masks at $46 (sad that that’s cheap), but this tub will last me until 2025 it’s so massive.
4. Olehenriksen Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum
I’ve been trying Vitamin C serums left and right from samples I got from past Sephora orders, and this one is by far my favourite! It has the best consistency; between a gel and a cream and less runny than the other ones I’ve tested. I also found that this one made the most difference in my skin. I found my skin brighter and less dull after consistent use. It’s definitely expensive, but that’s what sales are for… right?!
5. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
My favourite mask for winter because it’s SO hydrating. I usually snag one of these before I run out, to make sure I’m never without. I use it at night as a mask or in the morning under makeup. It’s my go-to travel beauty since it’s so versatile and essentially, it’s all the beauty I have to bring on a short trip. They have the jumbo size available now, and since I’m always in the market for a good deal, that’s the one I put in my cart.
6. MAC Studio Plus Powder Plus Foundation
This is my favourite foundation and has been for years. I’m onto my last one, which means that I might as well stock up while there’s a sale. I wear the colour NC10.
I don’t want to go too crazy with my order this time. I’m trying to use what I have, and I did a big Ordinary shop a few months ago. No point in letting things expire if I don’t have to!
What’s on your Sephora shopping list this fall?
xx Victoria
