Leather leggings are the most requested piece from the blog, by FAR! It seems like lots of people have trouble styling them, so today, I’m here to help! I’m sharing 5 easy looks that you can recreate with your leather leggings, and most likely other pieces you already own.
The leather leggings I have are the Daria Pant from Aritzia. I love that they look just like the real thing even though they’re vegan; they really give me a leather vibe! But they do fall down pretty easily on me. I haven’t pulled the trigger on a different pair, because these are working fine for now. Although, I’ve heard some amazing things about this pair from Spanx. Both are great options if you’re looking to snag a pair of leather leggings!
Leather Leggings as Workwear
H&M Button Up Top (similar) | Aritzia Cherrelle Blazer | Marc by Marc Jacobs Bag | Louise et Cie Heels | Nordstrom Leopard Belt | Winners Tortoise Earrings (old, similar here)
Although definitely not business formal, leather leggings can definitely be worn to the office! Throw on a blazer, long button down and heels and you’re off to the races! Make sure that your shirt is long enough to cover your butt and front to make it more office appropriate.
My favourite way to dress up workwear looks is with fun accessories! I added a leopard belt and fun tortoise earrings here to add a but more of my personality in. I can’t stand when people say that workwear is boring, because it really isn’t if you don’t let it be! If you’re looking for more outfits to wear to the office, I have an entire section of the blog dedicated to it here!
Leather Leggings and Outerwear
Kate Spade Peacoat | Rebecca Minkoff Boots & Bag | H&M Tassel Earrings (slightly larger pair here) | Zara Snake Print Neck Scarf (old, similar here)
This coat was for sure my absolute BEST Winner’s find; it’s Kate Spade and so cute! I actually bought it for my mom because I was on a no shopping month when I saw it, but I knew I couldn’t leave the store without it! I love the look of it as a top coat, fully buttoned up. I do have a dress on underneath, but don’t even need to open it to make the outfit AMAZING! You could easily ditch the dress underneath and opt instead for some warm layers if you’re spending the day outside.
Outerwear is a necessary evil or an amazing blessing depending how you look at it. I have a tendency to love it during the spring and fall and hate it during the winter. I guess that’s just life when you live in a city that the temps drop to below -30 degrees celsius in the winter! Thankfully, this comes with a LOT of experience in the outerwear department. You can check it all out here for more inspo on those cold af days!
Leather Leggings and Duster Jacket
Aritzia Duster Jacket | H&M Button Up Top (similar) | Winners Pompom Toque | Rebecca Minkoff Boots & Bag | H&M Velvet Earrings (old, similar here)
This is probably one of my favourite looks to date! I always feel like such a QUEEN wearing this long-line jacket. I’ve worn it before over a dress, over jeans, and even have the same pattern in a top and pants! You know it’s good when you buy it in pretty much every variation the store carries.
I love the way this outfit has multiple levels; from the base layer of the leather leggings, to the button down, then the jacket. It’s the layers that make an outfit interesting if you ask me.
Casual Leather Leggings
Aritzia Laboratoire Coat (old, similar here) | Thrifted Sweater via Value Village | Call it Spring Sneakers (old, similar here) | Camelia Roma Bag
I love a good outfit that I feel fab in but don’t look drab.. if you know what I mean. I’m not a fan of throwing on sweatpants for activities out of the house; usually, I’ll opt for something comfortable but still chic. And here we are!
This outfit was a go-to of mine in the fall: chunky sweater, faux fur coat and sneakers with leather leggings. Thick comfy sweaters are my favourite when it gets chilly out because I’m always cold. Plus, it doesn’t help living in a city that it’s cold in majority of the year. Luckily, between cozy sweaters and my all time favourite fuzzy coat (last seen here and here), winter’s got nothing on me!
Puffer Jacket and Leather Leggings
American Eagle Puffer Jacket (also comes in pink!) | H&M Sweater | Rebecca Minkoff Boots | Camelia Roma Bag | Forever 21 Hat (old, similar here)
I couldn’t do a post with ways to wear without at least one including a puffer coat! I grabbed this one from American Eagle during the holidays and it’s the perfect coat to get you through the transitions of seasons. It’s affordable, cute and get’s you on that puffer jacket trend asap! You can check out another way I wore it here.
Whoop there it is: 5 ways to wear leather leggings! I hope this post inspired you to pull out those leather leggings from the back of your closet, because they really are super versatile.

OMG I’ve had the Aritzia leather leggings for probably two years and still have the tag on (*sigh*) because I just don’t know how to wear them! I’ll have to try some of these ideas out with pieces I have. My fav look is the first one, I would even just wear it out, not just to the office!
