Since starting my job in an office setting, I’ve been constantly trying to come up with new, cute looks that are also office appropriate, without blowing my budget on an entire new wardrobe. I’ve added a few pieces here and there like this cute double breasted blazer and this pretty textured dress, but sometimes, it’s nice when Friday rolls around so I can dive into my “pre-work” clothes! I’m not going to lie, my casual Friday looks don’t differ much from the rest of the week, but for some reason, I just feel more laid back on the start to the weekend.
This look is perfect from taking your casual Friday look out of the office for the night. I wore this outfit last Friday and pre-Beer Friday, all I did was switch out my Kendall + Kylie booties for a comfy pair of sneakers and I was off to the bar! This outfit could easily be worn the rest of the week with a few slight tweaks: switch the jeans for a pair of well-fitting trousers, sub the Stan Smiths for your favourite pair of heels, and voila, a completely Monday to Thursday work appropriate outfit.
I picked up both this pinstripe top and colourful neckerchief while in Copenhagen and I found the scarf, but the top has sold out. I found some similar style tops here and here. Neckerchiefs are still one of my favourite ways to accessorize. When I was in Copenhagen I swear I wore them more often than not, and I love what they can add to any look, be that on your neck, bag or even wrist.

Love the all black with pops of white! This is definitely the perfect transitional outfit. I live in SoCal where there’s no snow…but I’m traveling out of state to see snow this week and I’ll use this outfit as inspiration!
