My love of blazer has been a literal blossom these past few years. I was never really into them, and then once I started working in an office a few years ago, and following my favourite blogger, Wannabe Fashion Blogger, let’s just say I’ve had a change of heart. They are SO versatile. And in my opinion, elevate a look like almost no other piece can.

Blazers can be worn both to the office and in a completely casual way, like I did here. By pairing my relatively formal blazer with a pair of distressed jeans, the blazer’s workwear vibes are there but appropriate for any setting. I wore mine to Wing Wednesday, so if that doesn’t say casual, I don’t know what would!
On the other hand, if you’re into making a serious statement.. grab the matching pants to this blazer! I grabbed them and I know I’m going to be rocking the suits all. the. time. when I go back to work!
A version of this outfit has become my go-to in these last few weeks of relatively warm weather. I always get cold so I need some sort of jacket, but I’m not willing to give up all the summer vibes!
You last saw these jeans recently on the blog here. They were actually the denim I was distressing in the DIY Guide to Distressing Denim! They’ve easily been my new favourite pant since I finished the DIY. It’s so crazy how much wear you can actually get out of a thrifted piece that you spent less than $10 on! Now that’s what I like to call a good deal!
