If you’re anything like me and have thick thighs, finding pants to wear to the office (or anywhere for that matter), is a living nightmare. Keep reading for all the pairs I’ve come to love after searching long and hard for the ones that actually fit.
Finding pants for me used to be equivalent to my worst nightmare. They always gapped at the top because I had to find pairs that fit my thighs first. Shopping for jeans or pants in general was just something I always dreaded because nothing ever fit right. Luckily, the past few years I’ve come across a few pairs that fit the bill perfectly and I’m here to spread the JOY!
Reminder, this post is dedicated to those that have a similar body type to me. Every pair I’ve included here is great for all (I think!), but specifically those with thicker thighs and smaller waists. I’ve found that this combo is hard to shop for, but great for the following pairs.
Work Pants for Gals with Thick Thighs
1. Wilfred Tie-Front Pant
These are my tried and true favourite pair. I have them in 4 colours I love them so much! They definitely tend to be a little more snug on the thick thighed than they are on the model on the website, but still fit like a dream. Definitely size up one, if not two sizes for comfort purposes because I don’t find the fit differs all that much.

The best part, you can get them in regular length which is perfect for wearing with ankle boots, or long length for wearing with sandals in the summer!

2. H&M Hidden Elastic Waist Slacks
If there was a pair that would win for comfort, this one would be it! They’re cotton and stretchy and perfect for wearing with a longer top since they are pretty snug. I love that the elastic waistband is concealed. No one would ever know your pants feel like you’re wearing PJs.
H&M currently only has 1 pattern right now, but usually they carry a bunch of colours, both patterned and plain.
3. Babaton Modesto Pant
Another Aritzia favourite. The waistband on this pair is pretty snug so make sure you size up one or two sizes from your regular. I went one size up and I love the way they look with just about everything. These are one of the only pairs I own that look like they’re not tight on my thighs, which is an absolute win for me!
