Hey hey hey people! I know it’s been a hot minute since you’ve seen new posts on the blog and I’m sorry, but Australia got the better of me! I’ve been having so much fun the past few weeks traveling, seeing my friends from exchange again and exploring a ton of places around the country. Get ready, because there’s going to be a TON of Australia blog posts coming up soon.
In the mean time, I’ve heard warm weather has officially hit back on the other side of the world. This time of year though still does come with some chilly days. I love a good slight chill in the air (probably why I love fall so much), because it lets you layer light pieces and look SO chic.
My favourite way to add some interest through layers is to include different lengths. A pair of high rise pants, a tucked in shirt and a long blazer is so easy but looks so good. If you’re going to wear something oversized, make sure the rest of your look is relatively tighter. I usually stick to the opposite rule: If it’s tight on top, it should be loose on the bottom and vice versa. This lets you wear baggier pieces while making sure you’re not drowning in your clothes.
xx Victoria
