Happy after Thanksgiving weekend my Canadian friends! This is the time to be thankful for what you have and spend time with your loved ones. Last weekend was half and half for me; I was able to spend multiple dinners with my family as well as my boyfriend’s. Sadly, my mornings were set aside for accounting studying. Yes, someone thought it would be a good idea to put a midterm on the day we get back from Thanksgiving. Ohh university….
My first dinner was with some of my family, and I knew exactly what to wear. I received this dress from Dezzal last week and immediately knew it would be the perfect turkey dress. Loose shirt dresses have stolen my heart, especially when I know my tummy will be full with turkey, and my favourite.. stuffing! The fabric is to die for, so silky; it does fit quite large though, so make sure to go down a size or two!
Because it has recently turned bone chilling cold here in Edmonton, I added some thick tights and my leather jacket to keep me warm. Tee shirt dresses are so versatile! I have already worn this dress to school and work and received so many compliments I knew I had to take it out for another occasion.
Button ups are my new thing for fall. I have been obsessed with button up skirts, shirts, and dresses. Plus, who doesn’t love a good stripe! This dress is so neat with the vertical and horizontal stripes, that’s the first thing I noticed when I picked it out from the website! I couldn’t not have it in my life!
I was so excited to wear my new dress that when it came in record time I was so pumped. The customer service was so helpful in the process and they made sure everything with my order went perfectly! Dezzal has such interesting pieces that I have never seen anywhere else. I’m so excited to see what they bring for the next few seasons!
