Over the past year, I dove head first into the sneaker trend. I seem to wear them just about everywhere! While I was on exchange in Copenhagen, my Stan Smith sneakers were the easiest thing to throw on. They looked cute and were super comfy while exploring Europe.

I wore them out so bad that I replaced them right when I got home with the same pair. I can honestly tell you that was the first time I have ever worn something out and then bought it again because I loved it so much. Usually I won’t even replace things that I’ve ruined prematurely with the exact same thing.

Since that pair, I wanted to expand my collection. That way, I wouldn’t wear out the new pair quite so fast. I snagged these velvet beauties on clearance for under $35! I also love this pair and this pair, and actually just bought these fun sneakers for spring!

Another trend I stole from Copenhagen was never doing my hair. It was always so wet that every time I rode my bike, my hair would end up looking like I hadn’t done it anyways. So I thought I might as well save myself the time and the effort and not do it.

It became so normal that even when I came home, I kept up with avoiding my curling iron. Finally, over a year after the last time I put a hot tool to my hair, I finally curled my hair. I forgot how long and annoying it was to do my hair so I doubt this will become as regular as it used to be, but I also forgot how much I liked the look of it!
