It was supposed to be a 1 post break… but then turned into a long blogging hiatus. I’m sorry it’s been so long! But don’t worry, there’s a new outfit with 2 new pieces in my wardrobe. And of course in the true taste of matching, both obviously had to be the same colour! So sit back with a cup of coffee and read about my new shades of blue!

I’d arrived home from my Australia trip only 5 days before I was leaving for South America so there wasn’t very much time for shopping. And to be honest, I was hoping there would be no time at all!
I’ve been on the hunt for really interesting pieces lately. There’s been a hole in my wardrobe where most things are a bit basic. Obviously I have a ton of amazing basics (like my new fave white tee from Uniqlo!), but now I need to opt for interesting pieces to pair them with.
This bag is definitely one of those interesting pieces! I adore the colour, and the style is so unique; I feel like I’ve never seen anything like it! It’s not available online anymore but if you’re ever near a Marshalls, make sure to check out their bag section. They always have some great bags, and LOTS of Matt & Nat. My last M&N purchase was this Raylan Bag for work (shown here) and it still goes with me on almost all of my trips.

I saw a bunch of similar earrings over some of my favourite blogs, and my LOVE of statement earrings has been seriously growing. But a lot of the ones I was seeing online were over $300. Yeah, you read that right.. $300. I splurge every once and a while, I will admit, but that’s taking it to a whole other level if you ask me. So $12 for this pretty pair was a LOT more up my alley.
Now of course I’ve been opting for matching sets, suits and colours so much this year, it’s only fair that I wear almost all shades of blue in one outfit. Plus a few old favourites!
Are you into mixing a bunch of pieces of different shades in one outfit?! Let me know in the comments if this kind of look is something you would like to see more of!
xx Victoria
