In life, I would say I’m negative percent rebel. I don’t get any thrill from doing things I’m not supposed to or rebelling against something, but I do get a little tiny thrill from wearing pieces in a way that not many others would think to do! Take these neck scarves; they’ve been a trend around for a while (I wore my first one on the blog here!), but in my opinion, they aren’t going to leave us anytime soon! They’re too versatile to give up if you ask me. Plus, they can be worked into just about any outfit, whether that be on your bag, around your neck, or in your hair. I seriously adore a pretty neck scarf, so I tried my hand at finding yet another way to add one to my summer outfits.
I may be a slight rebel when it comes to clothes, but as I’ve gotten older, that’s come with less skin showing than I used to. I’m not kidding when I say that a lot of the dresses I recently gave to charity where booty grazing. Let’s face it, that ain’t cute on anyone. But, when it comes to shorts, this summer I was looking for a pair that were loose, and consequently wouldn’t ride up, because no one likes that! I came across this pair at Aritzia, and the fit was so cute I knew they had to be mine. I love that they look almost like a skirt, but having the protection of still being shorts. Even though I’m not a shorts fan normally, I also shared this cute pair in another summer look and they are probably two of my favourite pairs EVER. Aritzia is stealing all my money this year, I swear!
