Happy Tuesday! The week after the long weekend is always rough to get back into. You’re on a high from all your long weekend festivities and then are expected to head right back into work like you didn’t just have 3 days off. Ugh, the worst, am I right?!
Luckily, July is upon us, and that means tons of fun summer activities to combat that work life balance. I’m working more regular hours now (my last job was a 24/7 kind of thing it seemed), so I’ve been filling up my evenings with dinners and drinks and summer fun. If I know one thing about Edmonton, it’s that it’ll be winter soon enough LOL.
My family and I went out to dinner at one of my dad’s favourite places in Edmonton. If you’re in the city and looking for really good Italian, Corso 32 is definitely one for your list! It’s on the more expensive side, but the appetizers alone are worth the price.
Recently, I’ve been trying to dress up more. If I’m going to buy all these pretty clothes, I shouldn’t let them sit in my closet while I wait for a place to wear them! I used to be notorious for saying, “Okay, but when will I wear this” when I was in the fitting room. While it can serve a purpose if you don’t need a ballgown anytime soon, for the most part, I think that most things can be worn without an occasion. It’s way more fun that way.
Case in point, I just picked up this maxi, this floral dress, and this summer mini (all on sale!) with no occasion to wear them in mind. As long as they’re versatile, I could wear any one of them to work, out to dinner, or even to the movies because YOLO. Kidding, but not really.
