I never thought of myself as a hat person. My high school didn’t allow hats so I never incorporated them into everyday wear. But then university came, and every other person showed up in some sort of hat. Mostly it’s ball caps, but you also see some beanies and structured hats thrown in as well. I tried wearing them, and after a few trial days of being unsure, it’s safe to say they are amazing. Not only can they completely change the look of an outfit, but they hide the grease that seems to go hand in hand with midterms.

I had seen Panama hats around and liked them a lot. Very unsure where to look and what color I wanted, I pretty much gave up. Then, a friend of a friend had her profile picture set to her in a dark grey Panama hat while she was in Copenhagen. It was meant to be! I was just about to travel there and obviously I needed that hat to come along. I found a few hats around the mall, but nothing in that coveted dark grey wool. Finally, I found it on sale at Club Monaco. I debated for a while because even on sale the hat was pricey. Ultimately, I went for it because I had been waiting too long to let it pass me by, and I’m so glad I did!

The hat is for sure more of a cold weather accessory. The dark color and wool push it towards a fall/winter item; I’m so looking forward to trying it out with my cooler weather looks.

I pulled out my All Saints leather jacket again (last seen here), and a long sleeved crop top from a few years’ back Aritzia sale. My Aritzia items are not only the most worn in my closet, but the least given away as well. They’re in constant rotation for so long!

These American Eagle jeans have been one of my favourite pairs from them. I love the color and they fit me like a glove.
