Can I get a hell yeah for dresses that are comfy AF?! I used to hate wearing dresses because I was buying ones that were too tight and rode up, or too short so I couldn’t bend down. You know, the true marks of a terrible fitting dress.
I’ve learned a few things about my dress preferences since those days: 1. Even if it’s the cutest dress in the world, if it’s not past my finger tips, it goes back on the rack. 2. Flowy is always my friend. And you know what, since I’ve realized those 2 things, I can’t get ENOUGH of the dress section.
This pleated midi dress from H&M is perfect for those warm nights by the beach, or hell, even those chilly nights at school (which is what my week looks like right now 🙁 ). The midi length has become a favourite these past few years because I never have to worry about exposing anything but it still looks so chic; I shared a pretty floral one last year that’s still in rotation! Whether you’re going for those edgy vibes, throwing something on over a bathing suit, or getting dressed for work, I swear midi dresses will become your new favourite thing. Just saying!

I was in Mimi Beach for fall reading week in November, and it was SO fun! It was my first time in Florida and I couldn’t believe who hot it was; I don’t do well with heat so it was a bit tricky to get accustomed to it, but I survived just fine! We first went to the Florida Keys, drove up to Miami and stayed in Miami Beach for 5 days.
It took us a while to get there because the flights were super long, but now Flair offers direct trips, so going back is definitely more enticing! I shared my thoughts and experience on Flair Airlines here after I took them to Vancouver with my sister in the summer.
