Happy Tuesday! We’re back in the warm weather of Florida for another post today! My family took a trip to Key West and Miami Beach, Florida back in November; today I’m sharing part 3 of the trip. Miami beach was SO freaking hot the entire time we were there. I don’t do well in heat to say the least (cue: traumatizing memory of getting heat stroke 2 years ago in the UK). Even though it was super hot, I’m glad I dressed in pants. I usually prefer pants to shorts because if you’re like me and have thick thighs, the ever present hot weather thigh rub is anything but pleasant.
These pants are one of my all time faves from Aritzia! I’ve worn them at home as well and they seem to always make me look pulled together. Plus, they don’t wrinkle, which might just be my favourite trait of clothes to travel with! Be careful though, the pant legs themselves fit true to size, but the waist is super snug. I’m usually an 8 in pants and I sized up to a 10.

I went for a more nautical outfit vibe because we were going to be spending the day on the water. Anything navy is right up my alley right now because I’m trying to stay away from so much black! Bring on the colour (even if it is only navy)! Plus, you can never go wrong with a crochet like top during beach trips if you ask me. They seem to scream “vacation wear” all the while adding the perfect touch to make your outfit that much more nauti!
