If there’s anything winter calls for, it’s layers! Keep reading for my favourite way to wear long layers and keep warm in the cold.

Happy February everyone! It’s crazy to think that we’ve already gone through one month of 2020. I’m seeing memes all over the internet that January felt like an entire year. For me, it went too quickly! My life is flashing before my eyes!
Either way, the end of January means we are that much closer to summer, which I’ll always take! It can be hard to dress for the cold for months on end because you get sick of hiding any and all skin, and you are re-wearing all your winter coats. Now I love a good coat, but they’re so expensive and bulky, you can’t have too many.
That’s probably one of the things I dislike the most about winter fashion. You always have to wear a coat so all your looks look similar! I know, #firstworldproblems and #fashionbloggerproblems, but I’m just being honest.
Last year on a trip with some of my exchange friends to NYC, I invested in my wardrobe, and bought this coat. Now, it was a serious investment. I mean, it’s top 5 of the most expensive things I own. But I’ve worn it so many times since and I feel like an absolute QWEEN in it, so I consider that a win!

In an effort to dress for winter, layers have probably come up. I love a good layer as much as anyone, debatably more. But what I’ve recently become obsessed with, is long layers.
I paired a long cardigan that I snagged secondhand under this coat, and I feel like it changed the whole vibe. It turned more cozy looking and *gasp* even warmer!
I have been into longer pieces since I bought this coat in NYC and saw a bunch of longer cardigans on one of my favourite fashion bloggers. So obviously I had to get on board!
How do you style your longer pieces? Let me know in the comments!
xx Victoria
