For those of you that live in a place where fall lasts longer than a week, first of all, congratulations. Second of all, this is for you! We had the most beautiful Saturday a few weeks ago that let us Edmontonians have one last fall day before the snow fell. My last day of non coat weather.. that’s what dreams are made of.
My friends and I went out to brunch and were able to walk a little around the area before heading out. It’s always so nice to spend time around this area on Saturdays because there’s always something happening. We went to the High Level Diner which is a classic Edmonton spot overlooking the gorgeous river valley. Having this huge space of natural river valley is really something I take for granted, but on my trips abroad, I did notice just how little greenery a lot of cities have. It gives me that extra little bit of love for Edmonton, and Canada in that sense too!
These leather leggings are a classic in my wardrobe, I wear them all year round, both summer, winter and now fall! But, until this day I found them hard to wear because they fall down so easily! Maybe (see probably) due to my juicy thighs, but I was determined to find a way to wear them. I ended up putting a belt overtop of them, making sure it sat quite far down on my hips to keep it from slipping up. Add a few long layers like a cute plaid and a fuzzy vest, and no one will ever be the wiser!
Sadly for all us Edmonton folk, we won’t be seeing a snow free ground for more than a few months, but hey, at least now we have an excuse to go jacket shopping!
