I have been on an absolute coat frenzy lately! Living in Edmonton, a majority of looks will have to have a coat involved; it’s just too cold to go without! But that usually means your outfits look the same because a main piece is continually repeated. As much as I love wearing my leather jacket, some times I want to switch things up rather than wear it again and again and again.

I headed to Zara for their after Christmas sale and they had some of the cutest coats. Zara is a great place to get coats. They’re pretty reasonably priced, and they have such cute styles, so shopping their outerwear section was a no brainer with everything on sale. I’ve gotten a few from there that I love like the faux fur from this post and a biker jacket (similar to this one) that I’m so excited to wear!

The rest of the look, I decided to keep relatively basic because let’s face it, this coat is extra af! I pulled out my fave blue denim from American Eagle, deciding to deviate from my usual black. I have 4 pairs of these black jeans from AE (oops!) but I wear them so much, I can justify it.. Maybe..

Having a cool pair of socks sneaking out of the top of your boots or sneakers is super in right now and thanks to Christmas (thanks mom!), I now have plenty of pairs to add a little bit of detail to otherwise basic looks. I have been wearing them like crazy since the holidays, well, on the days that it’s above -20 I can justify showing a little ankle for the fishnets!
