Last Day of Summer: Gingham J Crew Button Up

At the moment, I am a few days into the semester, but wishing I could go back in time to be in summer mode again. The weather was hot, I wasn’t stressed, and I could do things that I actually like to do.. Ahh those were the days! I am saying this as I should be studying my accounting textbook. Yes, I have had 1 class of accounting and they are already “strongly recommending” that we hit the books before our next class. Lucky me.

Anyways.. I went on a major shopping haul the other day, and throughout that week.. Oops! I picked up this gingham button up shirt from the J Crew Factory and I love it! I had been looking for this exact one, but was never able to find it for a reasonable price. Enter J Crew Factory. Originally at $80, it was 50% off for $39.99 and then I got an additional 15% off just for showing my student ID. If that doesn’t make my decision to buy easy, I don’t know what would!

Gingham is such a versatile pattern that I am so glad I was able to add it to my wardrobe. Here I went for a monochromatic look and stuck to blue jeans. In the future, I’m excited to wear my gingham shirt with a green utility jacket and a red lip. Yet again another recent purchase were these jeans. Brand new from good ol’ AE, I am obsessed with the color, although I did have to size up because they were so darn tight!

This is the first time I wore my new tassel necklace and I love the look it created! These shoes are a new buy; the effects of a full day at the mall. But, my feet are the victims here. I wore these Aldo flats for 1 hour and I have 6 blisters on each foot from them. I can’t wear anything closed toe until they heal because it is so painful. 10/10 the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I am going to try and stretch them out to combat the issue, because at this point I can’t return them, they’re covered in my blood! I will keep you all posted on the status of these shoes as I try my best to make them wearable.
