Canada Day

Hope everyone had a happy Canada Day!!

Not only is Canada Day a great time to celebrate an amazing country, but it’s also one of my best friends’ birthday! So this day has double the meaning for my friends and I.

This year, my boyfriend and I and some of my friends headed to a cabin at Sylvan Lake to have a glorious day of games, beer, and sun. Spending the entire day outside can be exhausting to say the least, so I wanted to make sure I wore something that could keep up with my backyard shenanigans.

I ended up going with a super comfortable grey heathered romper which allowed me to keep having fun all day long. I’ve had this romper for years, it’s definitely a go to of mine (I also have the dress version last seen here). I also whipped out my strappy sandals and added a red plaid around my waist to make my outfit Canada Day ready.

It got scorching hot during the early afternoon and I was very thankful that I had brought my boater hat along with me on the trip (last seen here). It protected my paper white skin from a horrible sunburn, which is what would definitely would have happened without it.

I lathered on the sunscreen and celebrated the day away with tons of sun.

Happy Canada Day weekend and now, happy Fourth of July to those American readers!!
