For a long time I was completely obsessed with Aritzia.. Okay, probably a little more than obsessed. Because I work at American Eagle, I was at the mall pretty often. I would head into Aritzia all the time and spend my entire months’ clothing budget in one quick swoop. When I first started this blog, I looked at my closet and realized that 60% of my clothes were Aritzia, 30% were American Eagle, and the other 10% were from other places. Now, I am trying really hard to diversify my wardrobe to include a lot of other brands and shop at places that I don’t have a ton from. I think it makes looks more interesting when there’s a little something from a whole bunch of stores.
Don’t get me wrong, Aritzia is still my go-to. It’s the one places I can go into and be able to find something every single time. Especially during their semi-annual sale. They have one to get rid of their summer merchandise in preparation for winter, and the same to get rid of their winter for summer. That’s when I go really crazy! They have huge markdowns and stuff on sale that I’ve never even seen in store before. And that’s saying something because I go in there a lot…
This outfit is the aftermath of last summer’s sale. I found the jeans more than half off from Citizens of Humanity and the top was an absolute steal.
White jeans had always been slightly taboo for me. I loved the look of them on other people but was never sold enough to buy a pair for myself. I realized after I tried them on that it was becasue I had always been going for ones made of thin material. It’s so important to get a good quality pair because I find they show just a little too much for my liking when they’re thinner. You can check out how I styled them last time here.
This outfit ended up being perfect for hanging out with some friends and going for a late night coffee. We got to sit outside for most of the time, but had to make a run for it when a summer rain shower started to pour on us.
I paired this look with black accessories which I love when they aren’t overpowering. Next time, I’m going to try out cognac instead for a slightly lighter feel.

It’s so true that you have to go for high quality white jeans or else they can leave very little to the imagination! Such a classic look!
