It usually takes me a while to finish the bottle of beauty products. I have so many at any given time that it’s hard to dedicate every chance I get to using up one specific product. That being said though, if I love something, it tends to be used up VERY quickly. That was definitely the case with all the products here. Although not a ton of April empties to show, I only want to show ones that I really really liked. I’ve finished more this month that weren’t worth putting in this post.
April Empties: Beauty Products I Loved So Much, I Finished the Bottle
1. Simple Micellar Water
Micellar water is one of my favourite things. It’s so light and refreshing while being kick ass with leftover grime. I always use it after my Makeup Eraser to get off any lingering tidbits of makeup.
The best part: it’s from the drugstore. SOOO you won’t be dishing out more than $7 for it!
2. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
I took the longest flight of my life two weeks ago and dang this made me feel good while on the plane. Those trips can really wear your skin down so this is the perfect pick me up. While on a plane or not, if your skin is looking for hydration, get this! Plus, it’s marked as clean beauty at Sephora, so that’s another WIN!
3. Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask
This smells so good and really hydrates deep down. At least that’s how it feels for me! I always put it on after a good exfoliator to really make sure my skin soaks up the goodness.
This is a great alternative to the Jet Lag Mask above because it’s about half the price. Careful though, it’s ALWAYS sold out at Sephora so make sure you jump on it if it’s in stock!
4. Grande Cosmetics Primer
I chatted about this mascara primer on my Instagram stories before and I really think it makes a huge difference in the look of your mascara. I noticed fuller and longer lashes with the primer vs without. While I used this primer, I was using drugstore mascara and honestly, it made my mascara look really expensive.
5. Summer Fridays Overtime Mask
Man, these Summer Fridays products seem to be making a trend! I didn’t use up the entire bottle (which is why you don’t see it in the photos). Instead, I opted to try it out before I bought with a sample from Sephora. Let’s just say it didn’t last long. Summer Fridays is a tad more expensive than other products, but I honestly think it’s worth the price.
It’s the perfect mask to get all that pesky dead skin off your face because it’s an exfoliant too. First rub it all over your face to exfoliate, then just leave it on for an extra 10 minutes while you face soaks up all the goodness.
Those are my April empties! I am definitely stocking up this next month on all these products to replace the ones I’ve finished!
