I 100% thought this whole Coronavirus thing would be long over by now. Was that naive of me? Yes, but true. But, since we’re still working from home, and many of us likely will be for the next bit even still, I’m sharing my top working from home outfit that makes me feel cute and comfy.
Uniqlo Dress (Out of stock, similar style here) | Camelia Roma Bucket Bag | Birkenstock Sandals | Bobbi Brown Sunglasses | H&M Earrings
The beginning of quarantine had me rolling out of bed approximately 5 seconds before I was supposed to start work. That meant usually working in my pyjamas all day. If that isn’t a great way to feel sluggish and gross all day long, I don’t know what is.
In my first outing since things started to open up, I went to the mall. I know, I know, why did I need to do that? I’m telling you, it was for a sense of normalcy more than it was to actually buy anything. And even though that was the case, I left with quite a few things… It was the March and April no spending, I’m telling you!
This dress was an absolute dream from Uniqlo. I originally bought it with the intention of cutting it into a longer sweater to wear with my biker shorts. Since I’m tall and have hips, I find it super hard to find longer sweaters that pull off the look my perfect biker shorts look. Plus, I’ve been on a huge DIY kick lately, so I thought why the heck not?!

Dressing rooms are closed so I bought it without trying it on. When I got home I realized it was too cute to cut. Surprise, surprise, I ended up with another dress and not what I was actually looking for.
I got a size large in the dress since I was looking for a really oversized look. I would say go with your normal size in this one though, since a medium would have worked well for me too!
Uniqlo is a great spot to head to for basics and oversized pieces. They don’t do a ton of tight things so don’t go in expecting form fitting.
They also have my all time favourite white t shirt. It’s the perfect fabric to keep its shape without being stiff. If you’ve been on the hunt for a white t shirt, definitely check this one out! It’s under $15 which means you can have a spare if you’re like me and can’t seem to keep food off your shirt!
What has been your go-to “We’re STILL working from home” outfit?!
