If you’re anything like me, you’re literally living in loungewear right now. I change from my day loungewear to my night loungewear, and then back again – and that’s my entire outfit repertoire these days! I put together a list of the best loungewear online right now. This past weekend, when I was looking for a set, I had some trouble finding a set I liked enough to feel good in but also cozy during this time. Scroll for the best ones on the market!
My wardrobe was not prepared for quarantine.
It’s the truth! I’ve been stocking up on workwear essentials and was getting ready for a fun trip to Chicago before all this hit. I had a few loungewear sets, but nothing to get me through months on end at home.
Don’t get me wrong, I have gross sweatpants and nasty sweaters from god knows when, but if this has taught me anything, it’s that I feel my best when I look good. Or even, I feel the most like myself when I put a little effort into what I’m wearing.
So this weekend I went on a little search. I wanted to find a sweat set that was cute and comfy, and would give my to-go set a much deserved break ha!

Best Loungewear Online Right Now
Brown Dyed Girl Tie Dye Sweat Sets:
A girl dying sweatsuits in her basement essentially! This is a great one to support small shops during this time. I will warn you, a lot are sold out but there are still some super cute ones left like the black/white/grey crew set and the cloudy set. It’s sold out right now, but bookmark and come back to the pastel set. It’s TOO GOOD!
According to her Instagram, everything is coming back in stock next week!
Garage Tie Dye Sweater and Pants:
My go-to set so far has been this one from Garage. I’ve worn it too many times to count and every time I wear it I feel good. That’s hard to come by these days with so little going on. They have it in blue, pink and the tan colour I have, but bottoms are sold out, ugh. They do have a purple shorts version (top here) or another tie dye option (top & shorts) if it’s a little warmer where you are!
I bought a size medium in the top and large on the bottom. I would say it’s pretty true to size, but on the bottoms, size down if you’re between sizes because they stretch out quite a bit after wearing.
Smash + Tess Rompers:
I’ve been eyeing a Smash + Tess romper for a while because 1) they look so comfy, 2) they look like they would be a presentable way to be comfy but also V stylish and 3) they’re a small Canadian shop. The trifecta if you ask me!
For these days inside, I would opt for something like the Friday romper, but, I also think the Romperalls would be SO cute to wear with a white tee and call it a day. Absolute WIN.
Gap Shorts Sweatsuits:
I love hoodies because I find them so comfy. Gap has a bunch of cute shorts sets right now with hoodies as the tops (aka the BEST) – my favourite is this striped set, shorts & sweater. They also have basic crew necks and shorts in some fun colours for spring, like blue, orange and pink. The shorts on those sets are only in stock in larger sizes though.

Sincerely Amber Marie Sweat Sets:
@sincerelyambermarie on Instagram is cooking up her own sweatsuits during this time. She announces any left or any new drops in her Instagram stories so keep your eyes peeled if you’re looking for one from her. The set I’m looking at from her is a black/brown tie dye and as much as I didn’t think I would love the colours, I’m here for them. So much so that I’m going to try and make my own I think!
BTW if you live in Edmonton, she’ll drop them off at your place, or she’ll ship if you’re out of the city!
Aritzia Sweatsuit Sets:
I have two sweatsuits from Aritzia and I love them. They’re both with an old culotte style of sweat pant, but their new slim sweatpants are the same material and just as comfy. I would recommend getting your normal size in both the top and bottom, unless you’re like me and have thick thighs, then I would size up on the bottom. These are a great option if you’re not too into pattern.
Since I usually opt for pants instead of shorts, my favourite sets are the zip up navy sweater and sweatpants (only small sizes left) and this waffle shirt and jogger set.
Aerie Loungewear:
I thought for sure that Aerie would have some cute sets and sadly, they really don’t. BUT, they have this jumpsuit instead, and honestly, it might even be better. And, it’s 40% off which means it’s $36….. so does that mean I should buy two?!
Etsy Hand Dyed Loungewear:
It’s a tie dye extravaganza these days people and it seems like just about everyone is getting in on the action! I love supporting sellers on Etsy because they’re small businesses and they could really use some lovin’ right now. There are pretty much endless sweatsets on Etsy, but below are my faves:
- 2 piece grey sweatset (ships from Canada!) From my own research for this blog post, this is the one I’m going to end up buying!
- 2 piece pastel sweatset. I love the colours on this one! Makes me think of spring, even if we can’t go outside ha!
- If you’re in the US, this set is a great option! I love that the colours are subtle but still noticeable. You can get them in Canada too but the shipping is a bit pricey.
H&M Pretty Sleepwear:
Honestly, H&M has been absolutely killing the game lately! They have the cutest pieces at great prices and I find a lot of their stuff actually very good quality. Right now, they have some of the prettiest silk PJs and cute linen housecoats. They do mainly have shorts though so for us still having chilly weather, this might not be the best, but still SO GOOD.
Zara Loungewear:
Zara has some great loungewear finds right now. I love that their loungewear is more of everyday wear that’s comfy.. if that makes sense ha! They have pieces labelled as loungewear that I would 100% add to my daily workwear. My favourites are an amazing oversized camel sweater with buttons and its matching pants, this cute af knit sweater and the matching joggers (both coming soon, ugh), and finally, this cute basic but stylish hoodie and pants.
