Grown Up Winter Boots

 

It’s time to grow out of those winter boots you’ve had since high school and invest in a pair that will actually keep you warm AND look cute. My winter boots did a major glow up and ended up being one of my best purchases of 2019. Keep reading to take a peak!

I don’t know about you, but I tend to hold onto things a little too long. And that’s even when their best days are WAY behind them. So, in true fashion, my old winter boots were still in my closet from years and years ago. The worst part is they weren’t even doing their job anymore! I ended up upgrading and I’m so glad I did because now I have grown up winter boots!

I has been wearing UGGs for years because that was what was cool when I was in high school. Fortunately for everyone, that is no longer the case. UGGs get destroyed SO easily and they have NO grip whatsoever for those of us that have to deal with snow and ice on the daily.

I walk to work, so finding a pair of boots that actually grip to the snow and ice was a must. Plus, they needed to be warm because I refuse to pay for a bus ticket even in -20 degrees. Call me crazy, but it’s one way I can save money to shop, so it’s worth it for me. Plus, because I work in an office and am sitting for the entire day, it’s lovely to sneak a little power walk into my day.
