Maccs the Label Ruffle Dress (Under $25!) | Aritzia Turtleneck | Joe Fresh Tights | Zara Oxfords | H&M Earrings | Thrifted Tote Bag | Mejuri Ring
I was always so indifferent about dresses until a few years ago. Then I realized just how comfortable and stylish they actually are. I mean, how can you go wrong with a one stop piece that makes you look like a million bucks with such little effort. My first dress that changed it for me was this beauty from ASOS and I’ve worn the crap out of it!
So after I snagged that one and realized how awesome they are, this one fell on my radar and I HAD to have it. I was maybe a bit iffy, but when I saw it was $20 there was no stopping me! And free shipping in Canada?! This is literally my dream dress.
I wore it quite a bit while I was on my trip to Australia. Obviously, I had to change things up since I’ve been back home because the weather is much colder. So this time, I chose a black tight turtleneck. If you’ve followed the blog, you know I consider a black ribbed turtleneck a closet necessity. Not only can you wear it alone with a cute pair of trousers (my favourite ones are here!), or under cute dresses like this!
The best part about this dress is that you can make it look completely different based on what you put (or don’t put) underneath it! In the summer, opt for lighter colours and lighter fabrics with no tights and this dress has just transformed into the warm weather. Versatility is key and this dress has got it goin’ on!
I love to shop local/small shops, so I’d love to know what your favourite small shops to buy from are?
