Fall is here and that means you need an easy fall outfit to pull out for those days that you just don’t know what to wear. I’ve got you! Today’s post is all about my go-to look for the season when I’m have a fashion melt down and can’t put an outfit together to save my life!

If there’s one thing you need this year, it’s a pair of booties. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, they’re a closet staple this time of year. I wrote a post last week about a few things you should add to your wardrobe this fall, and you can bet a good pair of boots made that list.
This pair from Rebecca Minkoff was last year’s bootie purchase, and I still LOVE them. They are comfy, look SO good with just about everything and are super durable during our winters. Sadly for me, they’re not office appropriate so they’ll be taking a back seat as I head to work. Actually, today is my first day! To make sure I was prepared for the new workwear environment, I opted to snag this pair of Steve Madden Boots in the black and snake print. They’re super flattering and the perfect height to wear with cropped trousers.
My Jallade Pants from Aritzia are obviously in this easy fall outfit because they’re the first thing I reach for most days. They’re flattering and comfortable, and I love that you can take the large belt tie off if you’re going for a different look. That’s what I did here before I added a silk square instead. Silk squares are more commonly used as a tie in your hair or on your neck, but here I opted for it on my belt loop. It adds some much needed pattern into this outfit!

Finally, throw in some texture to your easy fall outfit. This H&M top is the perfect example! I actually snagged it in new condition from Goodwill! But anyways, it always adds so much to an outfit to have a variety of textures. If you’re not huge into colour, texture is a way to get interesting, without going too far out of your comfort zone.
