Oak and Fort Pleated Pants | Aritzia Wrap Top | Aritzia Neckerchief | Camelia Roma Bucket Bag | Forever 21 Sandals
Taste of Edmonton is always one of my favourite festivals to go to in the city. I love sampling all the dishes and seeing if there are any new places that I need to try out. This year, my favourite was the steak sandwich from the Vintage Fork! It’s in the old Rutherford House on the University of Alberta campus, so you can bet I’ll be hitting that place up this upcoming school year. I also had to grab this lightbulb bubble tea after seeing it all over Instagram!
Working downtown is so nice because I can head straight from the office to all the downtown hotspots without breaking a SWEAT! That does mean that I have to strategically plan my outfits to be able to seamlessly transition from the day to night, but I’ve been working really hard to only buy workwear that I love enough I want to wear it outside of work too, so it’s been more than fine! I tend to opt for a pretty dress or one of my favourite pairs of trousers to start the outfit. Who can go wrong in a breezy floral number or the comfiest pair of pants in your closet?!
I love supporting local brands, shops, cafés, you name it! I’m all about that #Canadianmade life, so Oak and Fort is always a good idea. It’s a Canadian brand with the easiest throw on pieces in the game, and not as expensive as comparable shops. I’ve been obsessed with this type of pants since I lived in Copenhagen last year. Yet, I never went about getting myself a pair. When I saw them at Oak and Fort I was sold. THEN, I realized there was a sale going on. I mean, that can pretty much convince me of anything!
