I’ve been on a coat frenzy lately, with a brown fur one seen here, the most Copenhagen-esque coat there is, my oldies but goodies, and now this velvet puffer jacket from Zara. Because I wear coats for almost half of the year, if not more, I’m always on the hunt for a good one! Velvet has been such a trend lately and I really feel that it has to be the right piece for it to be nice. I’m not a huge velvet person, but there are some really nice pieces out there in velvet! I snagged this coat on sale from Zara right after Christmas and it turned out to be a good velvet piece.

I channeled my inner Copenhagen gal and added trousers, a button down, white sneakers and of course my fishnets. I can just see myself cycling downtown Copenhagen in this look and it’s making me a bit sad that it won’t happen. It just means I’ll have to plan a trip there soon right?! Since my time abroad, trousers have been an absolute staple in my wardrobe. I wear them to work probably 4x a week and I still end up wanting to wear them on the weekend! It must be good when you can wear it to both! This pair has been a favourite of mine, definitely apparent considering I have them in 3 colours: blue, nude and this black pair. I’m trying to switch it up but hey, if it fits, it fits! xx Victoria
