A few weekends ago, my friends and I decided we were all in desperate need of a vacay. So we booked a short, two day trip to the mountains. We ended up staying in Canmore, but went to Banff for the day since they’re so close. The mountains are such a gorgeous place to go when you need some time away from the hustle and bustle. The views always make me feel a little better!
It was a bit chilly while we were there and thankfully I brought along my favourite coat from Aritzia. As I mentioned before, I’ve been searching for this coat for over 2 years. I was FINALLY able to snag it from a buy and sell page on Facebook. As it’s no longer sold at Aritiza, I’ve found a few comparable ones here, here and here.
I’m all about the soft pieces, I spent all of my time abroad in the greatest fur coat ever, plus, I have this very Aritzia coat is both black and white vest versions. I think I need an intervention!

The beginning of our trip began with me in my favourite white jeans from Old Navy, and as these pictures prove, ended in my black AEO jeans thanks to a little coffee spillage incident. As much as I adore white jeans and light pieces, this seems to be the ending to my days wearing them more often than not.
I also pulled out the first plaid scarf I ever got (and still love 6 years later!), and my Hunter boots. Originally I bought the boots for the rain in Copenhagen, but have found them to be amazing for snow too! Add a pair of socks or 2, and you’re off to have the warmest day in the snow of your life!
These gloves give me all the European feels! They’re real suede and I scored them at a market in Budapest. Every time I wear them it takes me right back to that market where I ate my weight in this traditional fried bread thing. It was as amazing as it sounds LOL.
