A gal with a few too many coats, not enough closet space and a deep love for a good outfit.
I’m a proud Canadian which means I know how to dress for the weather. I’ve lived in Edmonton, Alberta for most of my life, except for a little 6-month stint in Copenhagen, Denmark during my third year of university. My life for the past number of years has revolved around accounting! I earned my Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and have since started my career in auditing at a public accounting firm. I’m getting close to finishing up my CPA designation, which will officially be the end of my schooling!
My love affair with fashion started early on; I was always the girl wearing the bright pink ruffle polka dot dress to kindergarten, and refusing to wear anything that didn’t stand out. Now, I would like to say my choices are more subdued, but I can’t completely admit that I don’t love a good pink ruffle here and there.
I always loved the way I was able to create so many versions of myself by just changing my outfit. That’s why I chose the Vic Version; I want to show you that a confidence boosting outfit really can make all the difference!
This blog was created out of a need to embrace my love of fashion. At first, I’ll admit I wasn’t sure what that was, but over time my blog has grown (from Strung in Gold!) to a place where I hope to inspire others to take a fashion risk, never say no to a good photo opportunity and maybe learn a thing or two.
I’m a firm believer that confidence can be born from the perfect pair of trousers or an amazing jumpsuit, and I hope that the Vic Version shows you just that!
Thank you so much for stopping by and please, stay awhile!
