If I have a mission with this blog, it’s to show people that you really don’t need tons and tons of $$ to dress well and feel like a million bucks. Today’s post is another one showing how you can make 15 different outfits using only 15 pieces!
I love styling things in new ways to show everyone how easy it is to mix it UP! You really don’t need endless shopping trips and closet space, but what you do need is a good eye. The pieces you bring into your wardrobe have to be versatile and you have to love them. I mean, what’s the point in owning it if you don’t?! Marie Kondo your closet and let’s get started!
If you’re interested, I also did another 15 pieces, 15 ways exclusively for workwear. We might not need it now but the minute you head back to the office, it’ll be right there waiting for ya!
The 15 Pieces
Tops:
This series was super top heavy ha! I find rotating tops the easiest way to go since they make the biggest change with only one piece. In this kind of 15 piece capsule closet, that’s exactly what you need!
Secondhand Aritzia Kearney Striped Blouse
Secondhand Zara Graphic Tee
Aritzia Floral Top
The Skinny Striped Sweater
Aritzia Black Turtleneck
Maccs the Label Ruffle Dress
All Saints Leather Jacket
Aritzia Laboratoire Coat
Bottoms:
I kept it small and notable with my bottoms. That’s because you really don’t need many if you have good ones. Both of these pairs of pants are in the top 10 for most worn things in my wardrobe which is obviously why they made an appearance here. People will say, Victoria, you can’t have casual looks without jeans. I’m here to tell you people that you can and you SHOULD. Jeans are fine and all, but a good pair of trousers changes lives.
Aritzia Babaton Modesto Pant
Aritzia Front Tie Pant
Vero Moda Button Down Skirt
Accessories:
Accessories are always a little lax in these posts because in reality, you could probably add 5 more accessories to each look. They’re low maintenance but make a big impact!
Thrifted Crossbody Bag
Adidas Stan Smith Sneakers
Steve Madden Jerry Boot
Aritzia Multicoloured Scarf
If you haven’t already noticed, a few of the pieces I included here are thrifted. If that doesn’t drive home the fact that style doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg, I really don’t know what will. Get a Poshmark account, go to Goodwill (when it opens again), and shop till you drop/spend $21 because that’s usually my bill at the thrift store.
Related: If you’re thinking about Poshmark, you can use the code THEVICVERSION to give us both a free $15. Free money is free money amiright?!
