Culottes are probably my favourite new trend this year. In Copenhagen, they were everywhere! The Danes seemed to pretty consistently stick to wider legged and looser pieces. It seemed like they could wear anything and look like they stepped right out of a street style magazine. It’s definitely one thing I miss about Copenhagen, fashion there was 100% percent celebrated.
In my quest to try out Danish fashion, I bought my first pair of culottes from Zara. I started out unsure, but ended up wearing them no less than 3 times a week. If you’ve never tried a pair, hop on the trend my friend! They are the comfiest pants I own and they look so put together with minimal effort. I just got my mom to hop on the trend and she can’t get enough either! I found a few favourites here, here, here, and here and I definitely plan to expand my already big collection of them very soon!
I tried on these Topshop wide leg jeans while in Copenhagen, but decided to leave them because I was just about to head to 30+ degree Celsius weather, and wasn’t sure if thick jean would be my best option. I kept thinking about them and finally convinced myself that if I’m thinking about them 2 months later.. I should probably buy them! Now, in the slight chill of Edmonton weather, they’re perfect!
This one shoulder was a sale pick up from Zara a few weeks ago and I finally had the chance to wear it. Anything with stripes is right up my alley, but I probably should have worn something a little less susceptible to wind on this particular day!
