With summer now over and fall coming in quick, finding new ways to transition your summer pieces into fall is super important for those of us without endless clothing budgets. Let me tell you, resisting the urge to buy a whole new wardrobe for fall is something I have not yet mastered. Although this year it’s a little easier because there is just no money left after my exchange semester (LOL). Either way, using your summer clothes for fall fashion is something everyone should try to do. It’s easier said than done, but also very doable to bring summer into fall.

This off the shoulder top has been seen on the blog before and continues to be a fave. I have trouble wearing off the shoulder in the winter because they aren’t so easy to layer so I always try and get tons of use out of it while the weather permits. It is such an affordable staple (less than $25!) during the three seasons though that it’s almost wrong not to have one in your closet, plus it comes in floral and floral too!

A good pair of trousers is now my favourite thing to wear. After Copenhagen, I am a trouser convert (see here, here, and here) and can’t even imagine ever going back to mainly wearing jeans. Trousers look so polished while being so comfortable too, I truly don’t know why people don’t wear them. Thanks Denmark for showing me the way to live! These pin striped beauties were a recent purchase from Aritzia in the hopes of expanding my workwear collection. I start my new job next week (omg!) and desperately needed to invest in some more pieces because I’ll basically only be wearing workwear for the next year!
