Snowy Copenhagen in my JORD Wood Watch

This past weekend, some friends and I jetted off to Berlin for a few days! There will be a blog post coming soon, but for now, if you ever get the chance to go to Berlin, do it! With so much history, it’s incredibly interesting to take a quick walking tour and see all of the sights.

The week before we left on our trip, Copenhagen was blanketed in a layer of snow. I come from a city where snow is a necessary evil for about 6 months of the year, so seeing the flakes falling felt a little too like home for me. This particular day, a bunch of us from the dorm went to check out a castle. This must have been the only hill in Copenhagen because there were tons of kids running everywhere with their toboggans, so excited to be hitting up the slopes! Instead, I pulled on my fur coat, Hunter boots, and JORD watch and set off exploring.

When I had originally heard of the concept of a wood watch, I wasn’t too sure how it would hold up. I imagined the watch coming apart after a quick wear because it was made of well.. wood! After I got my watch though, it’s sturdiness rivals that of my metal Tayroc watch! I love the dark wood and gold accents, perfect for a little sightseeing in Copenhagen!

I honestly used to hate watches (pre blog!), but after I received one for Christmas a few years back, I can’t get enough (see here, here, here, here, and here to name a few!) My arm feels naked when I don’t have a watch on, and even though my phone comes with me everywhere I go, my first instinct to check the time is always to lift my left wrist. Any chance of expanding my collection is always explored and my new wooden watch is the perfect addition!

I’m always on the hunt for things that can transition and be worn multiple ways. This watch is perfect for both casual daytime looks, and more fancy outings; my fur coat brings a little bit of sophistication whenever I put it on, and my new watch was the best addition to my put together look!
