Topshop Western Belt via Hudson’s Bay | H&M Dress (also love this one) | Zara Jacket (last seen here and here) | Forever 21 Sandals | Camelia Roma Bag
When it comes to work attire, I’m pretty much under the assumption that most things work in a business casual setting if you pair them correctly. Obviously this has some exceptions, like ripped jeans, low cut tops, or flip flops, but for the most part, majority of things can be made into business wear. I have spent the last year working in the accounting industry which involved completely shifting my wardrobe to office attire. I was initially nervous about what it would cost me to transition my closet, but actually didn’t find it too bad because I had a lot of pieces that I could easily wear with the right outfit. This jacket is the perfect example, throw it on with a ripped jean skirt and a flowy top and you have the perfect fall night out look; pair it with a cute midi dress, a belt and some heels, and tada, you have workwear!

I snagged this western belt from Topshop a few months ago and I love the interest it brings to an outfit rather than my usual plain black belt. This is one of those things that a lot of people probably wouldn’t think would be work appropriate, but I think they’re wrong. Fun belts are an easy start to adding something extra to your workwear, whether it be a chain belt (which I’m newly obsessed with), with a cool buckle or having an animal print! I invested in my dream Gucci belt earlier this year, and I love the way it looks for both workwear and casual style.
