My First Day of School Outfit

I went pretty light and airy with my look, sticking to light shades. I was iffy when purchasing this sweater from Aritzia because I already have one in a similar colour, and it was pretty expensive to have 2 similar sweaters. But, as per usual, I caved and bought it because I could not get over how much I loved it. I tried it on the day I went shopping in this look, and with my white jeans and red lips, I knew I had to take that outfit farther than just the change room!

I love the scalloped edge of the sweater; it adds such a fun element to an otherwise plainish knit. Sweaters have got to be my favourite part about fall and winter. Snuggling up in a giant sweater and pulling out my boots really don’t make me miss summer one bit. Well, that is until it gets cold enough that the sweater isn’t the only thing I need. When coats start coming out, I may have an issue.

To be completely honest, the only reason my Birkenstocks came out for a spin, was because of my blisters from my new flats. You can read more about that ordeal here. But, it all worked out and I walked in with my first day of school outfit feeling fresh!

An amazing pair of jeans and a cropped top are my go-to. I would say it’s my power outfit, especially if I’ve just done a little ab workout!
