A good sweater in the winter is an absolute must. When I spotted this chunky knit from Chicwish on Instagram a few months back I knew it would be the perfect piece to add to my winter wardrobe; I especially loved the heart shaped design all over, it’s so understated you almost don’t notice! I’ve featured Chicwish on the blog before with the cutest flared sleeve top, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again, actually, I just picked up a flared sleeve turtleneck too. The one I bought is out of stock, but I found this other one with the prettiest details on the sleeves. My only complaint is that it takes a while to ship, and for my fellow Canadians, the site defaults to USD which has screwed me up on a few purchases (oops!).

 

I love supporting local businesses, so when Willowdene messaged me about sending me a scarf I was so pumped! They have the prettiest collection of plaid blanket scarves that can go with just about anything. I chose the Claire colour because I was lacking in the camel/brown clothing department.. I am definitely in need of a camel coat asap!

For a few weeks, Edmonton had been uncharacteristically warm. I’m talking warm enough to ditch the coat and stay warm enough in just a sweater — I know, the apocalypse is upon us #amiright?! It has since cooled down, a lot, but I was still so thankful to have a few unexpected beautiful days where this sweater was on full view.
