Aritzia Blanket Scarf | All Saints Leather Jacket | American Eagle Turtleneck (old, similar here) | American Eagle Jeans | Steve Madden Booties (old, similar here) | Street Level Bag via American Eagle
When fall/winter rolls around I love pulling out all my scarves to keep me warm for the season. It can get quite cold so I usually end up wearing a scarf almost every single day.
The blanket scarves from Aritzia have been a huge craze in Edmonton the past few winters; it seems like everyone and their dog is wearing the chevron one. Not to be outdone, I obviously needed one too! My lovely friend got me the grey one for Christmas last year and it really ignited the fire to get more.
I picked up this one a little later in the year and it seems to go perfectly with this old turtleneck from American Eagle. The pattern in it is off white but not quite cream either, so it’s a little tricky to pair. That’s definitely one of my pet peeves; I hate it when people unintentionally pair white with cream. They’re two completely different colors and it seems to me like the crazy fashion lady that I am is the only one who sees it!
Anyways, I like to pretend I am a frequent bruncher. In reality, I usually only go when my parents are kind enough to take me. That being said, we brunch enough that I have a specified winter outfit.
It’s tough to dress cute in little skirts and preppy sweaters for brunch when it’s -30 outside. This is my go-to look for a casual meal in the winter as an alternative. I love that I feel put together enough but still am able to stay warm. I usually add a bright lip to pull it together even more and then I’m set for my eggs benny. Sadly for me, Copenhagen brunches are expensive and I am a broke university student. I guess I’ll have to wait until my family comes to visit!
What’s your best brunch outfit?

Thank you! I’ve had it for years and it still looks just as great as when I bought it. Leather jackets are so versatile, it’s probably one of my most recommended splurges!
