Happy Monday!
A few days ago, my friend and I were driving around and found this old school that was perfect for a blog post. We stopped and found a door with a sign at the top of the door that read “Girls”; it was so cute! We dropped our stuff and started taking photos. It’s amazing how interesting the city is when you actually take the time to look at it. There’s so many places waiting to be explored (and taken photos of!), I can’t wait to see more cool places around Edmonton!
I have been wearing this exact outfit non stop. This is probably the 4th or 5th time I’ve worn it and I still love it! You know it’s a good outfit when you continue to make it one of your go-tos. It’s the perfect outfit to wear to work (the first and third time I wore it), to coffee (the second and fourth time), or even on a little date with the honey (the fifth time I wore it).
These joggers are so comfortable while still being work appropriate. They are made out of a gorgeous japanese fabric that feels like a thick silk and have a drawstring waist. Joggers are the only type of slimmer legged work pants that I can wear because normal slim legged pants just do not work for me (call it the “volleyball thighs”). I love the color of the pants, yet they’re almost too light to be considered blush.
I paired my beloved pants with a cropped lace t-shirt that I got from Value Village years ago. It is one of my all time favourite thrifted pieces that I own. The lace is stunning and I love that it’s more ivory than white. It’s definitely one of my favourite shirts, and was definitely worth the $4.00 that I paid for it. Thrifting can be a complete hit or miss, I really find there’s not much in between, you either find good stuff that day or you don’t. My friends and I used to go there weekly and found some awesome pieces, a lot that I still wear to this day.
I paired this look with my trusty Spring sandals, and pulled out my leather jacket after it got slightly chilly. My bow purse from Italy was also added to my look. It has just enough space in that one to fit my phone and lipstick!
The hardware on my leather jacket is silver, and I wanted to stick to that throughout the look. I wore my Pandora pearl and bow necklace that my boyfriend gave to me for our anniversary, and pearl earrings. My bracelet is two necklace chains clipped together and wrapped around my wrist. These chains were at the very bottom of my jewelry box and I was going to donate them, but I had seen my friend do something similar with a chain so I thought I’d give it a try. I am in love with the result!
Hope everyone has a great rest of their day, and thanks for reading!

Lovely outfit and such a cute location – funny how we find things around us sometimes, so randomly… 🙂 I love the feminine details in your outfit, but also the edgy touch from the jacket!
