It’s a neutrals and blue week! I’m excited to share a few looks this week that stick to a similar color scheme with interchanging pieces. I never realized how much I loved navy until very recently; I always stuck to black. If done right, navy/blue can add so much depth to an outfit. I used to be scared to wear too much blue as I usually wore blue jeans. Now, with the influx of monochromatic looks, and more confidence in my style, I am all about head to toe blue. I’m thinking I need a blue suit asap.
I pulled out what turned out to be a full American Eagle look the other day to go to a play at the Fringe Festival with some friends. The Fringe is an internationally known festival for artists to perform their plays, and Edmonton has one of the biggest ones in the world. You can tell it’s massive with how packed the grounds are and how long it takes to find parking! We went to go see an Improv show for the second year in a row and again it did not disappoint! I am so amazed by people who are good at improv, because I know I would be awful at it.
I’ve had these shorts for years, but because they’re so popular, American Eagle keeps coming back with them! This year’s version doesn’t have any rips, and I think they look a little bit like Levi’s! I’ve worn this tank top on the blog before in this post, but switched it up by adding a white button up underneath my jacket. This jacket was from last year, but I managed to track down a few similar styles here and here.
These Birkenstocks are the perfect festival shoe because they go with everything and they are so comfortable. These are definitely heading to Europe to be my travel shoe! I wasn’t able to find them in the blue suede that I have, but I found the same style in leather here.
I recently became an Audaviv partner which means I managed to get you a discount code! Their website has tons of gorgeous jewelry and I snagged these bangles in rose gold here. I don’t have a huge rose gold collection but I wanted to expand it and I am so glad I did. I love how it looked with this outfit and I will definitely be incorporating them into a lot more. Such a fun look! I love the button up under your utility jacket! And I’m definitely a blue fan, it’s a great alternative to black!
