As much as I love wearing very distinguishable pieces in my outfits, bringing it back to basics is always a safe bet when I don’t know what to wear.

Stripes are a go to for me, but saying that, I really don’t have a lot of them. I did order this dress from the ASOS sale last week and I’m sooo excited to get it in. This tank top from American Eagle is great because I love the longer length. It does fit pretty big so it probably wasn’t too smart of me to not return and get a size down.. Oh well!

Out again is my Marc by Marc Jacobs purse (last seen here), Tayroc leather watch (last seen here and here), Aldo snake print leather booties (last seen here and here), and my black American Eagle jeans (last seen here).

I bought this green jacket years ago at a random store in Phoenix and since then its gotten A LOT of wear. I love that it’s so versatile and easy to throw on. Lately, I’ve found that army green is somewhat of a basic color (almost like jean), and it goes with almost everything. I love having pieces that aren’t limited to one season or one type of outfit.

I just got new glasses.. about time, it had been 5 years!! I have a hard time finding glasses that fit me properly and won’t slide off my face because the bridge of my nose is small, but these fit perfectly (which is why I got them). It took me a few days but by now I think I actually like them!! Plus, it’s always nice not having your glasses on the end of your nose every time you bend down…
